Horizon Surfing Center - Watersports Kos Island

The horizon surfing Kos, opened since 2009, is run by the Italian (Peppe) Giuseppe Amoroso. He has been a passionate kitesurfer for over 10 years. His team has several years of experience in windsurfing and Katamaranunterricht. On the wide, white sandy beach of the Horizon Beach Resort you will have 2 Hobby15 catamaran, windsurf material from, North Sails, fanatic, F2 and kite materials from the North Kiteboarding 2017.

The Horizon Surfing Center is open daily from 1 May until the end of October from 10.00 to 18.00. The team is happy to welcome you in German, English, Italian and Slovak.

Learn kitesurfing

• The Horizon Surfing Center works according to VDWS, IKO (International kiteboarding Organization) standards and safety rules. The wide sandy beach, a low entry area of about 50 m and the sloping onshore wind offer the best conditions to learn the sport. But also experts will have fun at this area, riding waves and jumping is guaranteed here.

Learn windsurfing

• The windsurfing area at the Horizon Surfing Center is suitable for beginners as well as for experts.
• The wide sandy beach and deep water in the entry area (approx. 50 m) makes this spot a dream for everyone.
• For your safety, a motorboat is always available on the beach.
• Have you always wanted to try windsurfing? No problem!
• The station offers beginner courses for adults and children from the age of 6.
• On one of our 10 beginner boards and a suitable sail between 1.0 sqm and 6.0 sqm it will be easy to learn the basics of windsurfing.
• After completing the basic course, you have the opportunity to Vdws
• Windsurfing License to purchase.

Catsailing

• The Horizon Surfing Center has Two(Hobie 15) Catamarans with exclusive design.
• Experienced Katamaransegler can rent the boats by the hour. 
• For those who want to experience the Katamaramsegeln firsthand, there is the possibility
• To take a one or two hour excursion together with a teacher. 
• Want to learn the catamaran? A VDWS Licensed
• Teacher will teach you the catamaran in 10 hours.
• Upon completion of the course, an internationally recognised
• VDWS Katsegel Certificate.

Stand Up Paddle

• The new trend sport from Hawaii has now also arrived in Greece. The Stand Up paddling, short Sup, originally going back to Polynesian fishermen standing, with a long paddle in their hands, moving in their canoes in front of Tahiti in the sea.
• Later, this idea was taken over by Hawaiian surf instructors to get faster to the coastal, wave-breaking reefs. 
• A SUP board can be used in many ways, for surfing with or without paddles or on wind and waveless days for a leisurely excursion along the coast.
• However, a little exercise is part of it.
